U Dobrožrúta
At the Good Eaters
Visual identity for the zero waste vegan bakery and drugstore "U Dobrožrúta". The identity deliberately works with a fresh, modern, and relaxed design in order to differentiate itself from the competition, which communicates mostly in earthy colors and directly in symbols associated with ecology. The great contrast between the short word U and the long word Dobrožrúta led me to the creation of the character. The "Good Eater" is a lovable, always hungry character. He opens and closes his mouth and can "eat" larger or shorter text or even an illustration. In order to be eco-friendly, we reused an old advertising sign and an old metal frame for a banner to mark the shop. The store also reuses paper bags (if you forget your own), and "Good Eater" parasitizes/eats others' designs.
