Ivana Palečková (1989) is an independent graphic designer and art director from Slovakia, specializing in visual identities, branding, illustrations, exhibition design, lettering, and print.
Alongside her client work, she develops contemporary photographic projects on 35mm film, often publishing them as authorial photo books that merge her interests in design and photography.
Graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Palečková has been working as a freelance designer and photographer since 2010. Her work has been recognized with awards such as the Slovak Design Award and Best in Design, and has been exhibited across Slovakia and Europe.
Through her practice, Palečková explores the intersection of graphic design and photography, creating projects that combine conceptual rigor with visual storytelling. Her approach balances artistic authorship with design precision, reflecting a deep engagement with both the visual and narrative potential of her work.
