Rabada
Veronika and Matej Rabada create clothing by hand, from the design and dyeing of the fabric to the cutting and final sewing. Their hands are blue from the traditional indigo dyeing of fabrics. They create their collections in the natural, forest, mountainous part of Slovakia, in Orava. The forest and the natural surroundings inspire their work.
Visual identity is inspired by their work with patterns, sewing, the forest... The logotype works with the rhythm in the word Rabada, "A" letters create an abstract tree. The chaining of the logotype is reminiscent of the stitch traces of a sewing machine. At the same time, it is possible to make a pattern out of the logotype. In the visual identity, I use recycled materials, typical indigo blue and turquoise emulsion color, which is used to transfer the motif to the textile when dyeing with indigo.
