ZŠ Cádrová
Design of a concrete relief for the reconstruction of Dedečka Elementary School in Bratislava’s Kramáre district. I was approached to collaborate by the architects of the reconstruction, Michal Vršanský, Michal Oborný and Michaela Šteiner Sýkorová. The relief captures two of Vladimír Dedečka’s iconic Bratislava buildings. I work with elements of the school’s reconstructed architecture so that the artwork is closely connected to the building and its architectural details. I also created a limited edition print series based on the relief. The first public tender was unsuccessful – we are still waiting for the production of the relief.
